What do our metanarratives have to do to be successful? Certainly each metanarrative defines success for us differently. But we can think about what it takes for a metanarrative itself to be a success.
Defining the role you should play in such a way that you could accomplish it while not making that so easy that there is no challenge in living may be one such requirement.
How about truth? I am sure this is a question anyone is bound to ask. What about the truth? Isn’t there one such metanarrative that is really the way things are? Aren’t all the other stories just fantasy?
A metanarrative needs coherence. It also needs to correspond to the way things appear to us. For us to know how a metanarrative can have either of these characteristics we need to know something about Logic.
So lets take a look at Logic.
