William Jamison - Instructor Introduction to Logic - Phil 101 Quizzes Explained Directions: Answer the questions I will pose during the class on paper in the class room. Sometimes I will ask more than one during the class. Please make sure I do not forget to do at least one question since this is also how I will take roll! If you are there it is a good thing that I remember since you will get a point for being present. Since there are 30 class meetings and a point for each up to a maximum of 25 points for quizzes there will be about 5 classes without a quiz but since you won't know which ones those are it is not a good idea to miss class. Sometimes the questions I ask will be general questions for discussion but sometimes they will require you to demonstrate an understanding of the reading assignment. If you later want to add more information via email you are certainly welcome to do that, but keep in mind that only the paper copy will earn points for attendance.
