Lecture 4 Notes:

Overview of Hobbes and Descartes. I used the overhead sheets from my Introduction to Philosophy lecture to review main points we discussed.

We also continued to follow the behaviorist logic associated with Hobbes’ view and took this from theory of knowledge and psychology to the social contract theory.

We also discussed the exam somewhat to help explain what I am looking for in the answers.
