William Jamison - Instructor

Lecture 18

Definition of God

Looking ahead to Saint Anselm "God" = df "that than which nothing greater can be thought." (or conceived)

My argument for why atheists should beleive in God rather than exempt themselves from debates regarding that than which nothing greater can be thought. Our highest values should be of interest to all of us.

How do you debate with someone like Richard Dawkins or Christopher Hitchens?

Se Alister McGrath.
